For once it’s nice to be in a position to use a site’s own description and not have to resort to inventing my own!
If you want to store your photos online easily then Pix.ie could be the place for you!
In the last few years the number of providers for both fixed and mobile calls has increased dramatically, so making sense of all the various “deals” can be an absolute nightmare.
CallCosts.ie, which is run by the Irish Communications Regulator, was setup to help the public make informed decisions without pulling out their hair. Instead of “shopping around” you should be able to see all the various prices in one place by simply “telling” the site what you use your phone for ie. how many minutes etc.,
The site is quite easy to use, though I only wish there were a business version of it!
When I was a lot younger my mother took me to the circus, as did my grandmother. That was a long time ago, but I still have fond memories of the magic that was the “big top”.
CircusVegas.ie is the official site of an Irish touring circus and is bright and colourful and very, well, “circus like”.
They’ve even got a blog, which I thought was pretty cool.
I’ll be looking forward to seeing which sites get nominated and shortlisted for the first year of this new award.
Unlike a lot of the other awards out there the Irish Web Awards are very much run as a “not for profit – cover our costs only” type event.
This hopefully will mean that more interesting submissions will be made than those you’re likely to see at a “pay to enter” type event.
Definitely one to watch!
